Yes that's SNOW on April 6, in "Southern Ohio". A great day was shared with the Midwest Fiber Company. Thirteen people attended the Southern Fiber Workshop at Good News Llamas. A cold day, good friends and lots of food. We learned how to evaluate different types of fiber, skirt and clean the fiber. Cherreen taught us how to groom before shearing and she sheared Vickie one of our heavy wool females. Everyone in attendance really learned a lot about fiber and with this new information we all agreed to get those bags of fiber from last years shearing and "do something with it" |
