WHY RESCUE?  Meet Gilligan a one week old healthy male cria. His mom came to live with us in January very near death. She had given all the strength she had to feed her yearling cria. Both mom and daughter were so thin and were so sad. We had an ultrasound taken as she was living with an intact male and it was no surprise that she was pregnant. With nutrition, companion llamas and lots of love the precious baby grew and is so loved by his mom. He kisses her and stays right beside her and she loves him so much. God gave them a chance and we know this boy will be something special.. There are three photos that will load slowly but please take time to view them. If you have a chance to help a llama in need all you need to do is look in their eyes and see the hurt and then see the spark of joy when they receive love. JOIN us in watching Gilligan grow.  The LAST photo tells it ALL,  Naomi is telling Gilligan, Yes, that's OUR home!
